The district's property records department is responsible for maintaining a continual record of tangible personal property with an historic cost of $750 or more which is owned or leased-to-own by the School Board of Pinellas County.
According to Florida Law, the department must make annual visits to all schools and departments and physically take an inventory of all tangible personal property with an historic cost of $750 or more, including all computers/laptops, regardless of cost.
