NINA HAYDEN
|
Nina Hayden was elected to the School Board in November 2008. As an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender, Sixth Judicial Circuit, Nina Hayden works with juveniles that are charged as adults. She knows from her personal experience the difference a good public school education can make in their lives and how it affects the quality of life in our community. Nina is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law where she received her Doctorate Degree, J.D. in 2003. Her community service to the Pinellas county school system includes many hours of work with students through the Lawyers for Literacy Program, the Great American Teach-In, and being a mentor for the Doorways program. Nina is a member of the Pinellas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Fred G. Minnis Bar Association. Nina also served as a Board Member of her condominium association, Your Place, a Youth Development Center and her church, the St. Petersburg Seventh Day Adventist Church. Nina moved to Pinellas County in 1998; is the youngest of four siblings; and, has a twin who resides in Pinellas County. Nina enjoys singing, exercising and golfing.
