On-Site Substitutes
On-Site sub positions require a minimum of a bachelor's degree, and the substitute must already be on the district's Substitute Teacher Eligibility list. The On-Site sub reports to the same school daily, 180 school days (student days only) and works in the first vacancy of the day. If there are no jobs available at the school, the On-Site sub will be assigned to a nearby school for the day. The rate of pay is $100.00 per day for student days only. There are additional requirements that will be discussed by the principal of the school at the point of recommendation for the position. Preference may be granted to substitute teachers who have worked at the site previously. Recommendation is made by the principal. To be considered, interested substitutes should call the school and send a resume.
