Required Annual Refresher Training
Before the start of every school year, all employees who have the possibility of encountering blood or body fluids, and/or who come into contact with hazardous chemicals, must review the appropriate video(s) listed below.
A reminder email of the refresher videos is sent to all facilities before the start of each school year. It is the responsibility of the principal/facility supervisor to ensure all affected personnel view the videos and forward an attendance record to Risk Management.
Bloodborne Pathogens and MRSA Training is now on Moodle!
All employees can take this course at their computer, or it can be shown at a group training session. This will eliminate making requests for the video and having to wait because of a lack of availability. To get to the MOODLE site, click on the link below:

and log onto Moodle. Once there, click on the Professional Development button, then click on the How to Master Online Trainings, then Bloodborne Pathogens & MRSA. The enrollment key is your school cost center number.
This course has seven (7) different sections, and includes a short quiz after each section. Once you complete the entire training, print out your quiz results and give to your supervisor. Be sure to keep a copy for your records. Additionally, you must sign the Bloodborne Pathogens Roster at your school/site.
At this time there is no Hazard Communications course on MOODLE so you will still have to obtain the video tape through Library Media.
