Text Box: Involving and empowering families is a sure-fire way to support youth in choosing a drug-free lifestyle. This is the basic premise behind FACE ITSM, which is an educational, substance abuse prevention and early intervention program. Parents/caregivers who must attend each FACE ITSM session with their teens, learn parenting skills while their teens learn life skills that support healthy, drug-free decisions.  FACE ITSM was developed under a U.S. Department of Education Grant to Reduce Alcohol Abuse.
