LEP SOCIAL WORK

Limited English Proficiency
The LEP Social Worker will provide support and consultation to the Social Work Staff regarding Immigrant and Acculturation issues; provide orientation and education regarding the various cultures that are prevalent in Pinellas County; develop relationships and knowledge of the community resources available to the various cultures that are most predominant in the Pinellas County School population.

When a family only speaks Spanish or Russian the appropriate Social Worker will assist in completing the social history.
