| In the area of Academic Excellence the office of Advanced Studies & Academic Excellence is charged with supporting our Magnet and Fundamental programs and celebrating academic success of our students. We hold annual recognition celebrations for students who qualify for National Merit Scholarships and the office works with Magnet and Fundamental school administrators to insure they have the support and resources they need to deliver these programs of excellence. The school options or choices for our students range from the traditional Fundamental programs focused on parent involvement and academics, to our theme-based magnet programs. Our Magnet programs offer options like math & science, fine arts, engineering, leadership, medical sciences & wellness, marine science, International Baccalaureate, Montessori, journalism and communications, government, business, and criminal justice. |
