Fred Matz was appointed Chief Finance Officer on April 2010. He has served Pinellas County Schools for 36 years. He previously held the position of Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Business Services for the last seven years, and served as the Director of Accounting prior to that. As Chief Finance Officer he oversees Budget and Resource Allocation, Auditing and Property Records, Accounting, Payroll, Purchasing and Cash Management.
