Services we provide include:
Florida Inclusion Network The Florida Inclusion Network provides a level of support and information for families of children with special needs.- General Information
- FIN provides staff to give telephone assistance to families with questions and information pertaining to their special needs child and Pinellas County Schools. Call 727-588-6020 and speak with a staff member.
- FIN provides a variety of district, state and national information to families of students with disabilities. If you would like to sign up for FIN's ListServe, email Cathy Heverly at heverlyc@pcsb.org subject heading "listserve".
- Preparing for IEP Meetings
- FIN Staff can assist families with information to better prepare for an upcoming Individualized Education Plan meeting.
- Family Workshops
- FIN provides a variety of workshops to assist families with their child's education. Click here (ESE website) to find out about current workshops or call FIN at 588-6020.
- Students with Disabilities Parent Support Liaison
- FIN provides families with an opportunity to speak with another parent about Exceptional Education issues in Pinellas County Schools.

Florida Diagnostic Learning Resource System FDLRS provides a variety of information to families of children with special needs including:- Written materials and information packets
When parents express an interest in receiving written information on a particular topic, Family Services can create a packet filled with selected articles and fact sheets about the topic requested. Call FDLRS at 727-793-2723 for more information. - General Disability Information
Call FDLRS at 727-793-2723 to speak with a FDLRS staff member to receive information, options and resources concerning children with disabilities. - Resource and Media Center
FDLRS maintains a collection of materials available for preview and loan to school district personnel, parents, university and agency personnel to assist in meeting the diverse needs of children and youth, birth to 21 years. Materials include supplemental learning activities, books, videos and audio cassettes. The Resource Center is located at the FDLRS offices.
