Financial Aid Seminars Begin Oct. 7
The financial aid office of Pinellas County Schools will hold several postsecondary financial aid seminars at area high schools in October and November. The seminars will cover the Florida Bright Futures scholarship program, organizing a financial aid search, types of financial aid, government grants and loans, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, understanding the Student Aid Report, college financial aid packaging and award letters, the Pinellas Education Foundation Scholarship Catalog, scholarship essays, searches and scams, the Talented Twenty Program, FACTS.org and prephq.org.

Oct. 16....................... St. Petersburg High, 2501 Fifth Ave. N.
Oct. 21....................... Osceola Fundamental High, 9751 98th St. N, Seminole.
Oct. 30....................... Tarpon Springs High, 1411 Gulf Road.
Nov. 6 (ESOL)........... Countryside High, 3000 SR 580, Clearwater.
Nov. 11...................... Gibbs High, 850 34th St. S, St. Petersburg.
Nov. 13 (ESOL)......... Northeast High, 5500 16th St. N, St. Petersburg.
Nov. 18...................... Palm Harbor University High, 1900 Omaha St.
You are invited to attend whichever seminar is most convenient for you. Please contact the school for exact location of the seminar, which will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. Plan to arrive early to pick up handouts used during the seminar.
