ELEMENTARY GIFTED
CURRICULUM IN THE ELEMENTARY PROGRAMS focuses on problem-based learning. Students have an opportunity to grapple with realistic, structured problems that crisscross a variety of disciplines. Skill development emphasizes locating and evaluating information, effective communication, use of numeric problem solving, and critical and creative thinking.
Resource Programs Resource programs are based at individual schools or at centers. Students attend gifted classes one day per week. Busing is provided for students who attend a center program.
