Position: Food Service Assistant Sub
Major Function: Performs a variety of entry level routine kitchen tasks essential to the efficient operation of serving meals in a school cafeteria. Responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and storage of food; cleaning and maintaining food service areas, and operation of mechanical equipment. Work is performed under direct supervision.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of the 8th grade, with functional skills in reading, writing and mathematics. Must successfully pass the Pinellas County School Board Safety and Sanitation (12) hour course.
After Completing the On-Line Application: applicants are requested to contact the Food Service office to set up a date and time for New Employee Processing. Applicants have to pay a $57.25 fee for fingerprinting and successfully pass local, state and FBI background checks.

Trades

 

POSITION: AUTOMOTIVE/DIESEL MECHANIC-JOURNEYMAN

LOCATION: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

 

12 mos., 8 hrs., Non-exempt pay grade D11, salary: $16.64 hourly, $32,881 yrly.  Hours of work are 1:30-10:00 pm

 

Performs skilled work of a journeyman level in the repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel driven vehicles and related heavy and specialized equipment. Exercises independent judgment concerning methods of repair after receiving oral instructions or written work orders for the job to be performed. Lead direction may be exercised over semi-skilled mechanics. Work is performed under general supervision and reviewed in accordance with specifications and accepted standards and procedures of the trade.

High school graduate or GED, plus four (4) years as a journeyman level automotive mechanic, to include gasoline and diesel experience. Must have valid Florida Class B CDL to include "air brake" qualifications, and any other license as may be required by law.
