Bullying Prevention
The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program is a
research based program designed to reduce and prevent bully/victim problems at school. The program is not a curriculum. It is a school wide program with interventions at several levels:
School-Wide Action
Classroom Level Activity
Individual Interventions
Community Involvement

As a result of the program schools have reported:
  • Substantial reductions in self reports of bullying and victimization

  • Reductions in self reports of antisocial behaviors such as truancy, vandalism, fighting and theft

  • Significant improvements in the social climate of the school
