special projects office
assists schools and other
departments in acquiring and
managing federal, state and
other grant funds. Staff
members have expertise in
grant management, grant
writing and fiscal
management.
The
financial aid office
works closely with this
office to achieve a common
aim of directing external
funds toward improving the
system and services to
students.
The primary responsibility
of the special projects
office is to ensure that the
resources of the special
projects office are
committed to the district
strategic directions by:
seeking
out,
acquiring
and
administering
external
funding;
providing
leadership
to
grant-funded
projects;
and
maintaining
fiscal
integrity
and
accountability
for
project
funds.
