School Board Workshops

  • NOTE: VIRTUAL SCHOOL BOARD WORKSHOP - April 21, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.

    As a result of the public health emergency that exists due to the COVID-19 VIRUS, and upon the authority granted by Executive Orders issued by Governor Ron DeSantis, including Executive Order 20-69, the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida, hereby gives notice that it will conduct a virtual public meeting using telephonic technology on April 21, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.  The public can attend this virtual meeting by listening to the meeting live by calling one of the following phone numbers:  1-929-205-6099 or 1-888-788-0099 (toll-free) and entering meeting ID Number 859 927 214, or visiting www.pcsb.org/boardvideo.  For those without internet or phone access, you may come to the following access point where a telephone speaker will be housed allowing anyone to listen to the meeting:  301 Fourth Street Southwest, Largo, Florida.

     

     
    The School Board Members meet in workshop settings to discuss issues of the district, proposed revisions in policies, the formation of the annual budget, etc.  Minutes are taken, transcribed and then submitted to the Board at a subsequent Regular School Board Meeting for formal approval.  The minutes of the workshops, once finalized by the Administrative Assistant/Clerk of the Board, are posted to this website; but, are not considered the official record of the workshop session until the School Board Members take official action to approve the written record.
