Post Storm Update and School Closure Information

11:30 a.m.As much of the community and many sites across Pinellas County Schools are without power, and the Pinellas County Schools continues to host members of the community in Shelters, the district will remain closed on Monday, October 14. All sports and activities are canceled.
No decision has been made about Tuesday, October 15. The district will communicate this decision by noon on Monday, October 14, and will be based on the closure of shelters and the stability of the power grid.
District operations staff continue to repair the damage to our school sites. Once power is restored to our sites, operations staff will be able to do comprehensive repairs to ensure the health, safety, and security of our buildings.
