    6:20pm

Performers will silently walk around to the front of the cafeteria and get into position

    6:30pm

     2. Caroling Medley

A longer piece that features everyone's favorite Christmas carols, this medley will be perfect for possible fundraising performances in our community (outside school). Altos will sing their line for the whole song, sometimes singing the melody and sometimes singing the harmony.

To listen to the alto part only, tap the treble clef in the alto line until your part turns red. To return to hearing both parts, tap once in any white/empty space. To view the song in full screen, tap the square box next to the play button at the top left corner next to the Noteflight logo.

    11. Auld Lang Syne

We'll invite the audience to sing this famous Scottish New Year's tune with us as we make our grand exit!

    Should old acquaintance be forgot,
    and never brought to mind?
    Should old acquaintance be forgot,
    and old lang syne?

    REFRAIN:

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
    for auld lang syne.

We two have run about the slopes,
    and picked the daisies fine;
We've wandered many a weary foot,
    since auld lang syne.

    REFRAIN:

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
    for auld lang syne.

We two have paddled in the stream,
    from morning sun till dine;
But seas between us broad have roared
    since auld lang syne.

    REFRAIN:

For auld lang syne, my dear,
    for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
    for auld lang syne.

And there's a hand my trusty friend!
And give me a hand o' thine!
    We'll take a right good-will draught,
    for auld lang syne.

    SPECIAL ENDING:

For auld lang syne, my dear, auld lang syne!

The phrase 'auld lang syne' roughly translates as 'for old times' sake', and the song is all about preserving old friendships and looking back over the events of the year.
