    Meadowlawn Families, this is Ursula Parris, Principal with our September 16th Weekly Updates


    Grade Level Announcements:

    8th Grade Scholars- We are looking for interested 8th grade scholars to represent Meadowlawn Middle School as Lancer Ambassadors.  If your child is interested, please ask them to speak with Ms. Therrien in the 8th Grade Office or during their lunch. If you would like to schedule a conference, please reach out to Mrs. Sutphin, Counselor  727 570-3097 ex 2061.  Check your child’s portal each day for updates on grades and assignments.
    6th Grade Scholars Have you seen your scholars progress report?  Call the 6th grade office at 570-3097 x2068 if you have not.  Tutoring is available before school at M-F at 8:15, students report to the front of the school.  It is also available after school M-Th. From 4:15-5:15. Students need to have a ride home.  Sign up is not required.


    Athletic, Academy, and Club Announcements:

    September 16 and September 18 – Boys/Girls Volleyball Home Game at 4:45 PM
    Anime Club  - Monday, September 16th 4:15-5:15 PM


    Upcoming Events: 

    Tutoring will begin at 8:15 AM Monday-Friday. Please drop off scholars promptly at 8:15 in the front of the school so they can be escorted to the tutoring location. Afternoon tutoring begins at 4:15 and ends at 5:15, Monday - Thursday. Please refrain from picking up your scholar before or after 5:15.
    Write Score and iReady Make-Up Assessments are scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If your child has not completed either assessment, he/she should report to the Media Center.

    Additional Notes for the Week:

    As a safety precaution, our Main Office entrance now requires acknowledgement from Office Staff prior to allowing entrance of all visitors into the School Building.  The entrance to our Main Office is locked throughout the school day. We thank you in advance for your understanding as we continue to make Safety 1st for our scholars and staff.
