    CT family, we know this continues to be a time of uncertainty for many of us as we continue to support our families and one another. As we make the transition to the 2021-22 school year, we want each of you to know that the safety and learning of your child is of the utmost importance. Please view information related to our guiding practices and protocols and contact your administrator or counselor if you have any questions or concerns. Our guiding practices and protocols are also available in Spanish here.

    Parents and guardians, we want to make sure that you continue to receive updated school and district information so please update your contact data in Focus. You can receive phone calls and it is recommended that you opt-in to receive emails and text messages. Get updated at pcsb.org/contactinfo. We appreciate your continued support. We will continue to keep you as up to date as possible, and as always, please feel free to call the school at 727-298-1620 with questions you may have.

     

    School Info:

    Student drop-off and pick-up will be accessable in either one of three parking lots on campus. Please utilize either the parking lot in front of the gym off Gulf to Bay Blvd, the front office parking lot off Hercules Ave. or the Portables Parking lot, also off of Hercules Ave south of the Administration Building. Campus will open at 7:00am. As construction on campus evolves updates can be found below in our CHS Construction Updates section and on Facebook.

    It is our intention to have every student's schedule completed on the first day of school! Schedules will be available in a student's FOCUS account, and we can print hard copies of each student's schedule in student services, if they should need it. If you are missing one or more periods in your schedule please report to the Media Center during that period. If you are scheduled into a class that you have already taken, or a class that you believe you should not be scheduled into, please report to that class regardless, and complete the Schedule Correction Form (which will be distributed in Home Room), and give it to your Home Room teacher to give to the Guidance Counselors. After completing the form and turning it in, continue to report to all classes on your schedule, and we will get you scheduled appropriately as soon as possible! Schedules are not changed to accomodate lunches or specific teachers, only for corrections that need to be made.

    Dress Code will be in effect from the very first day of school! Please be prepared by visiting the Dress Code Policy page on our website.

    All students will have access to free breakfast and lunch each day. Students will have either first or second lunch, which will occur around 5th period. You can review our Bell Schedule for class and lunch time information. Breakfast can be accessed in either the Cafeteria or in Portable 14 before school. Lunch can be accessed in the Cafeteria during the lunch times listed on the Bell Schedule. Remember, school starts at 7:25 am.

     CHS Sports:

    In a partnership with The Identity Tampa Bay and NFHS Network, Pinellas County Schools families will now be able to watch district high school sporting events from their homes or mobile devices. This partnership has allowed for the installation of 32 automated cameras at all district high schools.  

    For unlimited access to live and on demand content from the NFHS Network, fans can visit NFHSnetwork.com, search for their desired school, and subscribe. There is a Monthly Pass for $10.99 a month which can be canceled at any time. There is also a $69.99-yearly pass that is billed for 12 months at $5.83 monthly. 

    In addition to the NFHS Network subscription option, The Identity Tampa Bay will broadcast multiple games per week as part of this cutting-edge partnership. All games broadcasted on The Identity Tampa Bay will be free to the viewer. 

    Only football and volleyball games will be broadcasted this fall. The fall viewing schedule will be released soon. 

    For the 2020-21 school year, the district will implement a digital payment only ticketing policy for all athletic events. Fans will be able to purchase tickets online at www.GoFan.co. This new process will help promote social distancing, limit person-to-person contact and the physical exchange of cash and help to comply with capacity restrictions.

    - Healthy and affordable snack options will be available before school and during lunches
    - Lunch is free for all students and available at all locations during 1st or 2nd Lunch

    Technology and Devices:

    If your child is in need of a device, call Assistant Principal, Dr. Eric Smith, at 727-298-1620, ext. 2015 or email him, at smithericc@pcsb.org, to begin the process of recieving a device. Any previously issued student device will work and have access to Canvas for this school year, and any personal device can utilize the new learning platform as well. Access to all of the online learning platforms is done through the Clever App.

    Athletic Paperwork Update: 

    Athletic Paperwork can be completed on athleticclearance.com. Please drop off your online paperwork confirmation page in the front office with Mrs. Biddle once all documents are digitally signed and uploaded.
