CHS COVID-19 Updates

  • CHS & COVID-19 Update:

    CT family, we know this is a time of uncertainty for many of us as we continue to support our families and one another. As we make the transition to digital learning, We want each of you to know that the safety and learning of your child is of the utmost importance. While our school building may be closed, learning will continue.

    Graduation Ceremony Update: 

    We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2020 and offer a blended commencement ceremony, which combines an extremely personal, in-person experience at Spectrum Field and traditional components through a pre-recorded portion, all of which will be streamed for extended family, friends and the community.

    Clearwater High will graduate from 7pm to 9pm on July 8th at Spectrum Field. Please follow the link and visit the 2020 Gradutaion page on the PCSB website for more details and information regarding the ceremony and safety protocols. Please see the documents on the Senior Class page regarding safety protocols, Graduation Groups and additional instructions.

    Final Transcripts:

     Seniors: At this time Final Transcripts are being centrally processed through the district online. Please visit https://www.pcsb.org/Page/5351 to request transcripts or records.

    Senior End of Year Procedures:

    Any senior who has not paid their senior fees, returned their athletic uniform or has any financial obligation, must take care of the obligation. Senior fees are $100.00. (cash or checks only). Please email Mrs. Biddle at biddlek@pcsb.org if you have any questions. Caps and gowns will not be distributed until all obligations have been met.

    Summer Bridge:

    Summer Bridge (June 22 to July 16) registration is currently open, but, due to COVID-19, CDC guidance and social distancing, classes will be held virtually this year. The classes will be made available at all district schools to students needing additional assistance or who would like to take advantage of enrichment courses.

    Summer Bridge helps students prepare for the state’s Algebra 1 EOC test, SAT/ACT, learn skills they need to succeed in high school and earn credits they need to graduate.     Summer Bridge will be conducted using Microsoft Teams. Any existing device in your possession that can access Clever and the internet will work. If you already have such a device, visit the PCSB Digital Learning webpage for next steps.

    The 2020 Aqua Clara Yearbook staff is finalizing the yearbook for production. The factory hopes to produce something soon. We will share a date for distribution as soon as we have it! Yearbooks can still be purchased for $65.
