2021 Spring Education Plan

  • This plan was submitted to the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) on December 14, 2020.  That plan was approved on December 18 by the FDOE.

    The plan addresses four areas that will be supported at all schools.

    1. Student Interventions and Progress Monitoring: Programming and supports for students to make academic growth and address any learning loss due to COVID-19. 
    2. Innovative Learning Modalities: Pinellas County Schools will continue to offer both traditional in-person learning and MyPCS Online.
    3. Enhanced Outreach for Student Attendance and Truancy: Supports to ensure all students who should be enrolled in the district are engaged in learning.
    4. Professional Development: Conitinuing supports and opportunies for teachers and administrators to enhance virtual and in-person learning. 


    Note: The Pinellas County Schools' Health and Wellness protocols remain in place for in-person learning and are separate from the 2021 Spring Education Plan submitted to the FDOE.
