Gary Jeppesen
Chief Financial Officer
Gary Jeppesen, MBA, Chief Financial Officer, earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Montana and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a member of the Florida School Finance Officers’ Association and a member of the Government Finance Officers’ Association.
Mr. Jeppesen worked more than 25 years in private industry in a variety of finance, operational and technical senior-management positions and joined Pinellas County Schools in 2024 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the oversight of the district’s $1.6 billion budget as well as reporting FTE enrollment information to the state.
