The state's ESE Parent Survey is underway

Feb. 5, 2026 - Each year, the Florida Department of Education surveys parents of children receiving special education services to determine how well their children’s schools are partnering with them.

Application Areas

Fundamental Programs
Pinellas County Schools' fundamental programs are open countywide, which means families can apply to any fundamental program regardless of where they live. Please note that transportation is not provided with the exception of Boca Ciega High (south county), Dunedin High (north county), and Thurgood Marshall (south county).

Magnet Programs
Magnet schools are open either countywide or have specific geographic application areas. A family’s home address determines a student’s eligible application area for these programs.  Please note arterial transportation is provided for eligible students within the Transportation Area.

How to Find Your Application Area
  1. Enter your address in the School Zone Locator.

  2. Your zoned school will be displayed.  Under the zoned school are sections highlighting magnet and fundamental programs available in your application area. You can apply to any of the programs listed.

  3. Simply click on a program to visit its website.
