Current Volunteers

Thank you for being a vital part of our school community!  Whether you're mentoring, assisting in the classroom, helping with events, or supporting behind the scenes, we appreciate you immensely. Your time, energy, and dedication make a lasting impact on our students—and we’re here to support you every step of the way!

Are you a current PCS volunteer wanting to learn more about the Clearinghouse transition?

Current volunteers can fill out the Level 2 Information Form to begin their transition to the Clearinghouse.  We are prioritizing current Level 1 volunteers and current Level 2 volunteers with Level 2 expiration dates in 2026.

Already filled out the form and received your Clearinghouse email?

  • We highly recommend completing fingerprinting at one of our preferred vendors on the list below.
  • Remember to bring a copy of a government-issued photo ID and your Clearinghouse email to your fingerprinting appointment.
  • Please note that your photo will be taken as part of your fingerprint scan.

Logging your Volunteer Hours

Tracking volunteer hours gives us a clearer picture of the true value of our programs. It helps show business partners, donors, and the community the impact volunteers make, both in cost savings and contributions. Accurate records also help us plan, set goals, and highlight the strength of our school community.  Please log your hours regularly!

Refer to the Volunteer Quick Guide for easy instructions.

Accessing the Volunteer Handbook

We have generated a handbook to assist our Pinellas County Schools volunteers.  If you have any questions, please reach out to your school's Family & Community Liaison or College & Career Coordinator.

Reactivating your Volunteer Account

If you are a current volunteer with an inactive account, follow the steps below to reactivate your account.  Please do not use a mobile device when reactivating.

  1. Go to tinyurl.com/level2information
  2. If you are an inactive Level 1 volunteer, you will be asked to complete fingerprinting prior to reactivating as a Level 2.
  3. If you are a current Level 2 volunteer, your account will be reactivated upon completing the form and you will be asked to complete fingerprinting prior to your current Level 2 expiration date or June 30, 2028, whichever comes first.

Become a Resiliency Coach

Current active volunteers are eligible to become Resiliency Coaches through Resiliency Florida.  Resiliency Coaches will serve as one of the first layers of support. Resiliency Coaches are trusted adults who are trained to support children as they build resiliency to face day-to-day challenges. When children build resiliency, they have better academic achievement, better attendance and a greater ability to set short- and long-term goals.
