Employee Assistance Program & Emotional and Mental Health

Pinellas County Schools has an Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) through Resources for Living. Resources For Living® (RFL) EAP is available 24/7 for counseling and provides additional resources to help one manage their daily life. It provides up to 8 free counseling sessions per issue per year for employees and their household members. Please call 1-800-848-9392 for free and confidential assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Talkspace: Chat Therapy - Available Now! 
Talkspace is an online behavioral therapy platform that allows employees to communicate with a licensed therapist via text, audio, or video message on a smartphone or desktop computer. Employees and their household have access to Talkspace Chat Therapy for free through the EAP. Talkspace is subject to the EAP benefit of up to 8 sessions per issue. 1 week of Talkspace Chat Therapy is equal to 1 EAP session.
 

How to access Talkspace?
  1. Go to www.resourcesforliving.com
    • Username: pcsb
    • Password: eap
  2. At the top of the page or using the menu icon, click on Services. 
  3. Select Talkspace Online Therapy.
  4. Review the information and click on Sign Up for Talkspace.
  5. Click Get Started on the Talkspace website. 
  6. Follow the directions to register.
