Pinellas County Schools offers three Aetna Medical Plans. Each medical plan provides access to quality care through in-network providers. It's up to you to select a plan and use it to your advantage. You can choose from:  
  • Aetna Select Choice
  • Aetna CDHP + HRA
  • Aetna Basic Essential

Introducing RxSavingsPlus®

You and your family now have access to RxSavingsPlus, a drug discount program that can help you save up to 80%* on generic medications and up to 40%** on brand-name medications at more than 65,000 participating pharmacies nationwide. You can also save at MinuteClinic®, located inside select CVS pharmacy stores, with up to 15% off a health service or screening.

How it works

You can get a card online by simply scanning a QR code.  Then, price your prescription medications to see how much you’ll save with the RxSavingsPlus card. To start saving, simply print the card or display it on your mobile device. Show it at your local pharmacy or MinuteClinic. You’ll need to pay the full amount of the discounted price of your medication at the time of purchase.

 Who it’s for

If you are employed part time, don’t have prescription benefit coverage or the insurance coverage you have doesn’t cover certain drugs, you can use the RxSavingsPlus card to get prescription discounts for the whole family– even pets.
