Teleschool

Pinellas County Teleschool is a virtual program for middle and high school students who have been administratively placed due to zero-tolerance infractions at their assigned schools.

This short-term program provides innovative instruction by certified teachers. The goal of the program is for students to re-integrate to a brick & mortar school so they may graduate. In order to return to a traditional school, the student will have to meet the following criteria:
1. Complete the assigned timeframe. This is typically one or two semesters, but can be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Area Superintendent.
2. Confirmation by the Area Superintendent is required prior to returning to their zoned school or any other school in Pinellas County. Teleschool staff cannot make this determination independently - the Area Superintendent is the final authority with regard to reassignment.

The staff of Pinellas Teleschool strives to provide the best academic environment for each student and is continuously adapting to meet the needs of today’s students. Please be assured that your student will have opportunities to fully develop intellectually, as well as emotionally, socially, and physically. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at (727) 893-1115.
