Reenforcing Florida Standards using Urban Agriculture Concepts and hands on learning.

Mount Vernon Elementary, with the help of Ben Wrobel through UF/IFAS FNP has helped us to grow watermelons, multiplier onions, radishes, and more!

With help from Pinellas County Farm Bureau, Pinellas County Parks and Conservation, Florida Botanical Gardens and Parents of Mt Vernon we are creating a raised bed garden that the students will care for while increasing access to fresh fruits and vegitables.
