Clearwater Jazz Holiday - Artist-in-Residence 2022

Members of the organization led by Steve Weinberger, came to our school for an 8 week program called, My Journey in Jazz.  Students in 4th grade were able to study the history of jazz and share what they learned in a culminating performance, which included the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Jazz band!

Authors In Residence

Students began the year with workshops with two authors: ... and David Earl, author of Koala, Koala, I am not a Bear!

Students got the chance to hear from the authors and at the end of the workshops, they were surprised by getting their own books from those authors.  Thanks to a district magnet grant, which paid for the books as well as bringing the authors to the students.
