Ms. Stacey Fish
Hello McMullen-Booth Elementary families! My name is Stacey Fish, and I am proud to be the school counselor at MBES! I have been working with children and families for the past 20 + years.
Previous to MBES I was a school counselor in Pasco county and before that I was in Michigan working with the Department of Human Services as a case worker. I graduated from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor of Social Work and a dual master's degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling.
I have experience that ranges from elementary, middle, high school to Adult education and have volunteered in many areas from Big Brother Big Sister to woman’s domestic violence shelters. In addition to being your school counselor I work part time with a local counseling office working on transferring my Mental Health license to Florida and I am a 200-hour RYT certified yoga instructor. I am a member of the Pinellas School Counseling Association, the Florida School Counseling Association and American School Counseling Association.
I’m excited to be here and to provide a planned and comprehensive school counseling program that delivers prevention as well as intervention services to all students.
The MBES Counseling Program is designed to support students and families through a variety of services such as:
- Social Emotional Learning Classroom Lessons
- Small Group Counseling
- Individual Problem Solving
- School-Wide Activities
- Parent Consultations
- Teacher Consultations & Support
- Referral to Community Resources
