Multi-Tiered System of Support or Response to Intervention describes the approach we use in Florida to provide high-quality instruction and intervention matched to student needs using learning rate over time and level of performance to inform instructional decisions. This means we are constantly reviewing student data to meet individual student needs. In order to best educate our students and prepare them for success in college and career it is critical that we differentiate learning opportunities and strengthen the teaching and learning in our classrooms. As students struggle with academics and/or behavior, our staff members are equipped to provide additional layers of support or “interventions” to help make that student successful.
