• Hello, Pinellas Park Elementary Parents. This is Principal Freeman.  I wanted to let you know that report cards were sent home today. Remember to sign & return the envelope.  Please review your child’s academic and conduct grades. Did he/she reach the goals you set together for this grading period? What are the goals and the action plan for the current grading period? Third and fourth grade will host an Honors Assembly at 9 AM on April 4th for students with Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll or Principal’s List.  An invitation will be with your child’s report card.

Parents, we do need your help with behavior.  Recently we have had an increased level of disrespect to adults and to peers.  We have also had students cussing and using inappropriate language.  None of these actions align to our Guidelines for Success or demonstrate that our children are college ready.  Please remind your child of our expectations and yours.

Please continue to bring in your Connect for Success Title I laptop.  They were due March 31st.  It is important that we update the programs so we can return the laptop to you for summer learning.  This is a Title I initiative that helps our Bears succeed. We provide the free laptop, you are responsible to bring it in for quick updates.  Please do so now.

Thank you to all who participated in our PTA fund raiser.  Today the children soaked me at the “Principal Car Wash” and later we took a limo ride to Fortunato’s for pizza, soda and a brownie.  The students looked like rock stars! PTA still has youth and adult shirts available for $5.00. Please send in cash with your sizes and quantity you would like or visit the main office to purchase. Publix has additional Mother’s Day Cakes available.  If you would like to order cakes please send in $8.00 per cake with a paper with your students’ name and teacher. Envelopes are to be addressed to PTA President: Ms. Kat

Mark your calendars for no school, Friday April 14th. Please make arrangements for child care in advance. Again no school Friday, April 14th.

We look forward to seeing your children with new academic and behavior goals for the upcoming and final grading period on Monday at Pinellas Park Elementary School where we come to learn, and we love learning! Go Bears!
