Vet Camp - Intro to Dog Grooming

Introduction to Dog Grooming Camp is a hands-on, fun-filled experience for rising 6th–12th grade students who love animals and want to learn the basics of professional dog grooming. Campers will explore safe handling, brushing, bathing, nail care, and grooming techniques while working with real dogs under expert guidance. This camp builds confidence, responsibility, and practical skills—perfect for animal lovers curious about careers in pet care or veterinary fields. NOTE:  Student insurance required for participation

 

Program Date and Locations: 

  • June 1 - June 2 at Tarpon Springs High
  • June 3 - June 4 at Tarpon Springs High

Program Hours: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. 

Grade Levels: Students entering 6th - 12th grade

Transportation Provided: No

Cost: Camps will have a cost of $100 per session and a rate of $25 per session for students eligible for free or reduced-price meals.
