Remix the Runway: Cut, Rip, Rebuild

Colorful fashion clothes.

Remix the Runway: Dream It. Design It. Wear It. is a fun, creative fashion camp where students transform an everyday piece of clothing into bold, one-of-a-kind wearable art. Campers begin by imagining and sketching a vision for their design, choosing a theme that reflects their ideas and personality—knowing that, like all great art, the final piece may evolve along the way.  Through hands-on experimentation, students will cut, rip, layer, paint, and rebuild fabric using materials like fabric markers, paint, lightweight metals, printable images, and repurposed clothing. Along the way, they’ll explore color, texture, shape, and storytelling while learning how artists and designers reinvent materials.  From playful to polished, each wearable tells a unique story. The experience wraps up with aesthetic photos and a mini runway showcase, where campers confidently wear their creations and celebrate their creativity, risk-taking, and personal style.
