Newest Principal's Call Out 1/11/2021

Good evening Jaguar Nation: This is Principal Wilson. The semester concludes this Friday. Thank you for a great first semester.  I know we have had many challenges since March however, we are focused on providing the best education possible for our amazing students and we will continue to partner with families to achieve our academic and social goals.  Thank you, families, for continuing to report COVID cases to keep our campus safe. 

Any student that has a D/F in a content course (not an elective) - I am encouraging to please, please, please, have your child return to Brick and Mortar on January 20th.  (IF your student has a D or an F in a course, you would have been notified by mail, from Ms. Slifkin, Assistant Principal),

If you are refusing to send your student (who has a D/F in a content course), to On-Campus Learning, please complete and submit the Form that was mailed out to you last week notifying you of your students grade status. Please mail or return the completed form to the front office during business hours: 8:30 am-4:30 pm. If you do not have the form, you may copy and paste the image below to a blank Word document to print, complete and sign to indicate whether your student will be returning to Campus on January 20th, or to opt-out of Brick and Mortar teaching.

The process to change your child’s learning option is to click the link below to request a change.  Students who choose this option will return to Brick and Mortar on Wednesday, January 20th.  If you are refusing to send your struggling child back to Brick and Mortar please sign and submit the letter that was mailed home last week.  You can also drop the signed letter off into the front office during regular business hours.

6th grade students that are returning to Brick and Mortar from online learning please drop your child off on January 20th at 9:00 a.m.  Ms. Nemeth (school counselor) will meet with the students, provide their schedule, masks and agenda. 

This week is exam week for our students (Monday – Thursday).  Friday is a make-up day for exams.  Students online should be participating in exams at their designate time.  These exams are calculated into their grade.

Attention families that utilize Pinellas County School buses.  Please download busbulletin.com.  This app will alert you of late buses (AM/PM) and bus substitution numbers.
