Josh Ward Wins SkillsUSA State Competition
Metropower visited Dunedin High School to congratulate Senior Josh Ward for winning the SkillsUSA Electrical Construction Wiring competition for the state of Florida. They presented Josh with a prize package of tools and apparel to go towards his future career as an electrician, as well as, committing to support his goal of becoming a master licensed electrician. Metropower’s goal is to raise awareness of the opportunities SkillsUSA provides Florida students by showcasing the trades and the successful, high wage earning career pathways that, not only provide rewards personally and professionally, but also benefits society. In the future, Metropower is dedicated in sponsoring future students, who earn their way to the national SkillsUSA competition. Good Luck to Josh Ward at Nationals.
