54 Student Artworks Accepted Into Museum Of Fine Arts Exhibit

The PCS Visual Arts Department is happy to announce that 54 Pinellas student artworks were accepted into the Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg Pinellas High School Art Exhibition. To see the list click here.

With an opening reception for students and families originally scheduled for late April, the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in St. Petersburg had to temporarily close its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In coordination with the MFA, the Visual Arts Department has taken this art show online so students, families, and the public can enjoy the amazing artwork!

Click here to hear a brief message from Stephanie Chill, Curatorial Assistant at the MFA, and then click here to view the virtual exhibition shared online through the PCS Student Art Gallery. The annual theme for this show is “visual metaphor”.

Congratulations to these students (and their art teachers!) for having artwork selected for “virtual” display in this prestigious art show!
