Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up, May 5-May 9, and we want to make it extra special for our amazing OFHS faculty—with a fun twist!
Students/Families will have the chance to secretly “sponsor” a teacher by choosing one from the list. Your job? Show them a little appreciation during the week (May 5-9) with small surprises such as kind notes and thoughtful gestures.
Some ideas - leave a thank you card on their desk, have the office staff put a small surprise in their mailbox, leave a message of gratitude on their whiteboard, have your class sign a thank you poster and present it as a surprise in class, leave fun origamis or doodles for them to find, create a Spotify playlist to share, organize a classroom clean up and give the gift of your time and assistance, leave a sweet treat, decorate their door as a fun surprise, etc. Get creative! It doesn't need to be complicated or cost money!
The fun part: it’s a mystery—the teacher won’t know who their sponsor is unless you choose to reveal at the end of the week. Let’s spread some kindness and make our teachers feel the love!
