On Tuesday February 23rd the School Board of Pinellas County Schools appointed Teresa L. Patterson as the next Principal of Palm Harbor University High School. Principal Patterson is a product of Pinellas County Schools as a member of the Largo High School Class of 1990. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Marketing while competing as a NCAA Division 1 athlete at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She worked for over a decade as a NCAA Division 1 Soccer Coach prior to transitioning to educational leadership at the secondary level. Mrs. Patterson has worked in Orange County, Hillsborough County as well as Pinellas County School systems. As a teacher leader at Steinbrenner High School she was honored both as the Girls’ Soccer State Coach of the Year as well as the Steinbrenner Social Studies Teacher during her tenure. She comes to Palm Harbor University High School from Seminole High School where she was an Assistant Principal.
