January 6 Facebook and YouTube Live Event- How to Apply

Application Period- January 7 – 17, 2025

 

• The DAP Application Period will open at 12:01 am on Tuesday, January 7.

 

• It will close at 5 p.m.  on Friday, January 17.  

 

• As it is a randomized process, it does not matter when they apply as long as they apply before 5 p.m. on the last day.

 

• Student Assignment will remain online until every phone call and email that comes in before 5 p.m. has been handled.

Parent DAP Application Assistance

 

• The Student Assignment Office will offer families assistance with the DAP Application Period the following days, times and locations:

 

·         January 9:    5:00 – 6:30 PM at Sandy Lane Elementary   

·         January 10:  9:00 – 11:00 AM at Lakewood Elementary

·         January 14:  5:00 – 6:30 PM  at  Tarpon Springs Fundamental 

·         January 17 : Extended hours at Student Assignment until application period closes

 

(We may have one or two more additions, we are waiting to hear back from a couple of schools)

Outgoing Messaging

• Student Assignment will be communicating to all PK- 11^th grade families (with the exception of Plato students and all but 8^th grade students in other charter schools) on the following days at 5 p.m.:

• January 2^:      phone call and email about Facebook Live and Application Period
• January 7:    phone call and email- DAP Application Period is Open
• January 13: phone call reminder ½ way through the application period
• January 16:  email and phone call reminding of end of application period next day
