School to Work Through Big Brothers Big Sisters
Opportunity for rising Juniors with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay
Students have the opportunity to be mentored their Junior and Senior year at the local State Attorney’s Office. Students gain valuable skills and exposure to career opportunities. Employee mentors meet with students at the worksites once a month, during the school year. During each visit, a brief workshop (topics include emotional intelligence, time management, planning for college/financial aid, resume writing and interviewing skills, professional etiquette, financial planning, and conflict resolution) is provided to the students. Students then spend one on one time with their mentors and job shadowing. Lunch is provided before students return to school. For more information please contact:
