Week of Nov. 26

Good evening TSHS Learning Community,

Hope all families had a nice Thanksgiving holiday break last week.  Our week is off to a strong start and with just 3 weeks to go until semester exams, there are plenty of tasks for students to keep in mind.

All students are encouraged to monitor their grades in Focus on a consistent basis.  After school tutoring as well as lunch tutoring is available to support students in the learning process.  Our goal is to ensure students have the proper support and attention to help them earn the best grades possible!

All 10th grade students have been working on the Future Plans Career Assessment.  Data from this assessment will be shared with students in January and it is our intent to use this information as a guide for 19/20 school year course registration later this Spring.

The PSAT results are scheduled to be released in mid-December and will be available via each student’s College Board account.  Early January 2019, all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students will receive their results here at TSHS.  Additional conversations will take place during the 1st day of semester 2 in Homeroom regarding linking the PSAT scores from College Board to satpractice.org account to provide a free, customized SAT prep resource.  We are very thrilled to offer this opportunity to our students.  Additional support will be available for students and satpractice.org will be integrated into English classes, Reading classes as well as various Math classes.
