Each year ACE (Adult and Community Educators) of Florida names a Teacher of the Year.  This award is given at their yearly conference.  Clearview Adult High School (Standard Diploma) and GED teacher Jet Fowler was chosen, and we were so excited to be able to celebrate her in Port Charlotte in October.  This award is given to only ONE Adult Education teacher for the ENTIRE state of Florida, nearly 3,500 Full-Time teachers, and no one is more deserving than our Jet.  Disappointingly, Hurricane Milton had other plans and the ACE of Florida in person conference was cancelled.  
Jet’s success is proven in the vast number of graduates she has, but her impact is much bigger.  Her no nonsense, tell it like it is, attitude inspires respect from her students.  They trust her to know their personal background and it allows them to feel she is invested in their success and in their future.
