PTC Director Encourages MYcroSchool Pinellas Graduates to Persevere

Pinellas Technical College St. Petersburg campus Director, Boe Norwood, spoke to MYcroSchool Pinellas’ 2016 graduating class and encouraged the students to continue to work hard, surround themselves with a good crowd and persevere.

“I encourage all students to continue their education and I know from experience it will pay off,” said Norwood at the commencement ceremony.    
He also acknowledged the great relationship that MYcroSchool Pinellas and PTC have developed with the help of PTC’s Carl Lavender, Jr., senior consultant of capacity-building strategy and Ann Sherman-White, coordinator of Industry Services. 
Facy Dalon Tamoyko
Norwood presented the class valedictorian, Facy Dalon Tamoyko with a certificate for a full LPN scholarship to attend Pinellas Technical College and he also offered financial assistance to the 32 MYcroSchool Pinellas graduates who are interested in continuing their career and technical training at Pinellas Technical College.
More than 350 attended the ceremony that was held on June 9th at the St. Petersburg PTC campus.
