PTC Culinary Students Cater City Urban Affairs Event

Students from the Pinellas Technical College Commercial Foods and Culinary Arts program on the St. Petersburg campus catered the State of Urban Affairs event that took place on Sunday, January 29th, at Fairmount Park Elementary School. The annual event highlights the city’s progress and programs in south St. Petersburg. The PTC culinary students that participated included: Mathew Allende, John Brady, Alicia Clark, Craig Nedoff, Lauren Nobles, Ed Powell, Maria Rosado, Jaspreet Virdi, and David Westermeyer. They worked under the guidance of PTC instructors, Chef Bill Kittell and Chef Lennox Preudhomme. In addition, PTC Plant Operator Fran Ricottilli, helped to load the truck and set up the facility for the event. Special thanks goes out to Suncoast Haven of Rest Rescue Mission for transporting all the needed equipment & food.
