Pinellas Gulf Coast Academy Community

Dear Students, Parents and Families,

With the end of the 2024-2025 school year approaching, we are so thankful for the hard work, determination and resilience that the parents, students and staff have demonstrated in support of student success at Pinellas Gulf Coast Academy.

As we look ahead to the 2025-26 school year, there are changes for our school and campus. Effective July 1, 2025, the Pinellas County School District will repurpose the Pinellas Gulf Coast Academy facility. The program currently located on the PGCA site will move and be split between the Bayside High School and Pinellas High Innovation campuses. This decision will enhance the support and resources we can provide all students. The wonderful supports and services provided at PGCA will continue at the new locations.

We are a remarkable educational community that works in partnership to champion the individualized needs of our students. I want to sincerely thank you for your support and dedication to our school.  I am excited by the new opportunities this will bring our students and families.

We will be hosting a family meeting in the coming weeks. At that time, we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the transition.

Should you have any questions about this process, in the meantime, please contact Stephanie Long, Chief Student Support Officer (longst@pcsb.org).
