Ana Perez Perez, a senior at Tarpons Springs High School, received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her community service as part of the 2019 Prudential Spirit of the Community Award Program. 

 

Ana’s community service efforts are significant as she has spent a large amount of time serving her community and country. She volunteered in a veterinary hospital in Puerto Rico before moving to Florida in 2018.  Once in the Tampa Bay area, Ana started volunteering at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary in Palm Harbor.  Her service hours well exceeded 3OO hours. 

 

Ana received a certificate and a letter with the White House seal that was signed by President Donald Trump.
