Student artwork selected for the Word and Image Exhibition
Nov. 23, 2020
Seventy-five works created by PCS high school students are on display at the Morean Arts Center through Nov. 29.
Now in its 23rd year, the art exhibition combines art and writing into one work of art. This year’s theme is “What the World Needs Now." High school students created works of art with written personal narratives that illustrate the theme.
The public can view the 2-D and 3-D artworks at the museum during regular business hours. The artworks can also seen in the online PCS Student Art Gallery.
The Morean Arts Center is located at 719 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg.
A virtual awards ceremony was held on Nov. 14. Congratulations to all of the students and the award winners!
