Learn the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families
July 1, 2021
Join nationally renowned facilitator Betsy Wierda as she leads a free virtual session on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families. This session will be held noon-1 p.m. July 8. The workshop invites families, caregivers, advocates, and community leaders to share in the experience of their students and learn how the Habits can be applied at home.
The workshop is designed to enable participants to learn what are withdrawals and deposits in Emotional Bank Accounts and to practice building stronger relationships through empathic learning. Every participant will receive the book: 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families, Participant Guide, and a calendar.
This is the second in a three-part session. The third and final session will be held 4-5 p.m., July 14, 2021. This session will help families and caregivers to find creative synergy by valuing each other’s strengths and to plan how to regularly renew the body, mind, heart and spirit.
This free series is facilitated by representatives from FranklinCovey, the world leader in helping organizations achieve results that require lasting changes in human behavior, often the most difficult to challenge any organization faces. The free series is being provided by the district’s Office of Strategic Partnerships.
