Osceola Fundamental High tennis player and coach win Florida Dairy Farmers awards

An Osceola Fundamental High School tennis player and coach won state recognition from the Florida Dairy Farmers.
The organization named Osceola High junior Alessandro De Bernardo “Mr. Tennis.” The player of the year recognition was decided by a panel of top prep tennis coaches. The organization also named Osceola Fundamental coach Alberto Lense Boys Coach of the Year.
De Bernardo won both the singles and doubles 3A state championship and also helped his team win the state final. Lense led the Osceola Fundamental boys’ tennis team to its first state championship in school history.
Since 1992, the Florida Dairy Farmers High School Sports Awards program has honored the state's top athletes and coaches in sports sanctioned by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA).
The program also promotes the importance of dairy products in young people's overall nutrition plan.
