Wellness Protocols

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns. We assure you that the safety and security of our students is our top priority. When a confirmed positive case is reported to the school, it is then reported to the district’s COVID Team and the Department of Health-Pinellas to further investigate. There’s a process in place to help identify and contact those individuals directly impacted as quickly as possible.

Pinellas County Schools has Wellness Protocols in place under its Guiding Practices and Protocols Fall-2021 to help keep students safe and healthy this school year. The district strongly recommends the use of masks by all students, staff and visitors as part of a multi-layered approach to help stop the spread of COVID-19. We encourage everyone to wash and sanitize their hands regularly, distance to the greatest extent possible, get vaccinated if eligible, and stay home if you are not feeling well. The school and district staff are making sure our facilities and high touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected, and our air filters and ventilation follow recommended guidelines. We have masks and hand sanitizer readily available in classrooms and on school buses for anyone in need.

The school woill continue communicating updates to the weekly Sunday night School Messenger calls. If we all do our part, we will have a healthy and successful school year. Thank you for your support.
